Become an AANA Regional Ambassador
Join us in making a lasting impact on our community by becoming an AANA Regional Ambassador. This volunteer position is designed to enhance the culture, foster a sense of community, and advance AANA’s mission at a local level – by state within the U.S. and by country internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Community Connection: Establish meaningful connections with existing and potential AANA members in your region. Whether they're long-time residents or newcomers, your outreach will strengthen our community bonds.
- Championing Education: Promote AANA’s commitment to education, surgical skills development, practice management and research. Your efforts will contribute to increasing our membership and maximizing the value our organization brings to its members.
- Regional Resource: Act as a go-to resource for members seeking knowledge in your state/country. Address professional inquiries related to job markets, clinical skills, coding/billing and more. If you can't provide direct answers, guide members to the appropriate resources.
- Networking and Advocacy: Establish contacts with local, state or international societies (if applicable). Promote AANA and discuss the benefits of membership. Your advocacy will play a crucial role in expanding our influence and presence.
Prerequisites:
To be eligible, you should have a strong understanding of AANA’s history, values and structure. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of membership or active involvement within the last 2 years (committee participation, volunteering, etc.).
