Scholarship Application Is Now Open
Thanks to funding from the AANA Education Foundation, AANA is offering eight scholarships (2 per course) to attend an E.L.I.T.E. Skills Training Lab Course (see dates below) at the OLC in Rosemont, Illinois. Each scholarship will cover course registration and up to $500 in travel reimbursement.
Attend an arthroscopic training course catered to your specialty that’s unlike any other training you’ll experience. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to work closely with leading faculty in the field of arthroscopy while participating in interactive panel discussions and real-world case-based presentations. Attendees can also gain insightful pearls that can be applied to their own practice back home.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:
- Applicants must be a U.S. member of AANA in good standing. See Details And Apply
- Applicants must complete the scholarship application, including CV and personal statement, and provide a letter of recommendation.
- Members can apply for multiple scholarships throughout the year, but will only be awarded one scholarship per calendar year.

- Application form and supporting material must be received by application deadline. Incomplete application(s) received after this date will not be considered.
- Application must include the completed online form, a CV, personal statement (not exceeding 500 words) and letter of recommendation. The personal statement should describe why you should be selected to attend this event or course.

The AANA Education Foundation will award up to 50 scholarships for Orthopaedic Residents to attend the AANA Annual Meeting PGY3, PGY4, PGY5, PGY6 Orthopaedic Residents residing in the United States during the 2024-2025 academic year and who have an interest in minimally invasive or arthroscopic surgery are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Application Is Now Closed
The AANA Education Foundation will be awarding seven scholarships to attend either the AANA25 meeting in Washington, D.C., May 8-10, 2025, or an E.L.I.T.E. Skills Training Course (see dates below) at the OLC in Rosemont, Illinois. Each scholarship covers course registration and up to $2,000 in travel reimbursement.
E.L.I.T.E. Skills Training Course Dates:
- June 21, 2025
- October 25, 2025
- December 6, 2025
If you select an E.L.I.T.E. Skills Training Lab Course, you can choose an area of focus —Hip, Knee, or Shoulder—for your selected course date. These courses feature all-star faculty who will guide attendees through discussions on the latest clinical algorithms, supported by peer-reviewed publications, and cutting-edge surgical techniques. Additional learning opportunities include lectures by expert faculty, hands-on cadaveric surgical labs, case-based panel discussions, and pearls on how to avoid complications and ensure clinical success.
